

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was established on 1st April 2011 when Monitor authorised the organisation as an NHS Foundation Trust. The Trust provides health services at two hospitals in North West London: Hillingdon and Mount Vernon. Hillingdon Hospital is the only acute hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services.
The Trust’s services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit, and outpatient clinics.
The Trust provides clinical services to over half a million patients a year, including over 97,000 Emergency Department attendances. As an NHS Foundation Trust, the Trust has a 25-strong Council of Governors and over 6,300 public members. It employs over 3,500 staff making it one of Hillingdon’s largest employers.
